Demographic crisis in Latvia: young people see no reasons for returning to their homeland

There are alarming trends in the demographic processes for Latvia. For 11 years, more than 260 thousand people have emigrated from the country. That not only reduces the total population, but also creates problems for the economy and society. After all, mostly young people with higher education leave the country. Their goals are understandable - the desire to earn more, improve the quality of life and get additional education abroad. Young people do not yet see the reasons for returning home.
