13th day of special operation: humanitarian aid from Russia and decree on withdrawal of Ukrainian peacekeepers

8 марта 2022
On the 13th day of the military special operation for demilitarization, the LNR claimed to have liberated almost the entire territory of the republic. And the shots in Donetsk did not subside since morning. Fighting is still going on in Kiev and Kharkov. Zelensky signed a decree withdrawing Ukrainian peacekeepers around the world. The so-called peacekeepers were called to Ukraine to participate in the fighting.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry delivered about 430 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine and the Donbass: flour, sugar, canned meat and fish.

The Western countries are cynically unwilling to acknowledge the presence of neo-Nazis in Ukraine. And President Zelensky accused NATO forces for refusing  to create a no-fly zone over the country. Zelensky even talked about his readiness to discuss the further fate of Crimea and the Donbass republics. He said he had a possible solution to the problem of their recognition.

For years, Washington's entire foreign policy has been based on confrontation with Russia. Even in their own country, those who did not want open conflict are still discredited by the Democrats.

The recent anti-NATO rally in New York was eloquent. The protesters call not just to end violence in Ukraine, but also to stop the local nationalists and fascists.

For NATO, the main thing now is to keep the conflict within Ukraine, says Jens Stoltenberg. But the North Atlantic Alliance continues to expand its presence on the eastern flank. There are 130 aircraft and more than 200 ships "from the high polar latitudes to the Mediterranean," as the secretary general put it. In addition, thousands of troops are deployed.
