US university fires professor over refusal to be gay

U.S. professor Daniel Mattison has sued the University of Michigan for not prolonging his labor contract due to his refusal to be gay.

Before his suspension on the pretext that his texts were "offensive to homosexual students," the professor had worked at the university for more than 20 years as a music teacherr.

For such "crimes" one can be fired even after a hundred years.
