The Belarusian women's basketball team will face Japan in the first match at the 31st Summer Olympic Games on 6 August. In the second game of Group A, the Belarusians will play against France, followed by Brazil, Turkey and Australia.
The best four teams of each of the two groups will advance to the Olympic Games quarterfinals.
