Sabalenka defeats Kontaveit and enters semifinals of WTA tournament in Stuttgart

Strength of spirit and character against all the odds. Aryna Sabalenka defeated the sixth ranked Estonian Anett Kontaveit at the prestigious WTA tournament in a battle to reach the semifinals. The match lasted 1 hour and 47 minutes. The first set was won by Aryna, 6:4, the second part of the match was won by the representative of Estonia, 6:3.  In the final stage of the match Sabalenka was confident 6:1. Aryna's opponent in the semifinals will be Spaniard Paula Badosa Hibert.
