Christmas Amateur Hockey Tournament for Prize of President of Belarus starts in Minsk

The tournament has officially begun in Minsk for the 16th time. All participants, as well as spectators, were welcomed by the Head of the State. 12 teams will compete in the ranks of Chizhovka Arena; they are divided into 4 groups. The team from the United States is among the debutants this year. The Ukrainian team finally returned to Minsk after the break. The Christmas tournament itself is the best master class from hockey stars for the younger generation. In parallel, young winners of the Golden Puck will be determined. Belarus together with Latvia will host the World Hockey Championship next year. The Head of the State takes great delight in hockey. The team of the President of Belarus is the hostess of the competition and the constant finalist of all previous draws. It won 12 times in the history of the tournament.
