A few minutes ago the opening ceremony ended at the Olympic stadium in Baku. Belarus-1 led live broadcast of the event. The bright and colorful show was at the level of the World Games. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko participated in the ceremony.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was among the three dozen of heads of state who were present at the stadium during the opening ceremony of the first ever European games.
The show was directed by Dimitris Papaioannou. He was the artistic director of the opening of the Summer Olympics in Athens 11 years ago. Two thousand people took part in the show that reflected the national culture and the role of Baku in modern Europe.
