Consolidation of Belarusian and Russian athletes will help cope with the sanctions pressure in sports. This opinion was expressed by relevant minister of the Russian Federation on the eve during a meeting in Mogilev.
According to Oleg Matytsin, the sanctions, which were adopted by Western countries and the international community in relation to the Belarusian and Russian athletes, showed the resilience of sports in each country.
Mogilev Region is hosting a joint meeting of the boards of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus and the Ministry of Sports of Russia. One of the issues will be the holding of the II CIS Games in Belarus.
