Belarusian men's handball team to participate in 2017 World Handball Championship

After a 26-24 home victory in the first play-off match against Latvia in Minsk, Yury Shevtsov’s team lost to the opponents, 26:28. However, due to the large number goals scored in away matches, the Belarusian national team will play in the final of the World Handball Championship for the second time in history.
