President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko considers it important to hold the II CIS Games at the highest level. The head of state drew attention to this during a meeting with the leadership of the Council of Ministers, BelTA informs.
"Under the current circumstances, this sports festival is of particular importance to the Belarusian athletes and a wide range of our friends, who have confirmed their participation," said the head of state.
He also demanded: "We need not just hold the Games at the highest level, we must once again show that Belarus is an open and peaceful country, where there are comfortable and safe conditions for people.
