President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a message of greetings to the participants and guests of the XXVII International Sambo Tournament for the prizes of the President of Belarus, BelTA informs.
"The Belarusian capital is again cordially and hospitably hosting the best representatives of one of the most spectacular and technical martial arts. Sport has always been an ambassador for peace, so let the Minsk tournament serve the great goals of unity, mutual understanding and friendship between peoples for many years," the message says.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed his conviction that sambo wrestlers will be able to demonstrate their skills and fortitude in the Palace of Sport and the fans will enjoy vivid and uncompromising bouts.
