The village of Volkovichi near Minsk is a place of attraction for real extreme athletes. The CIS Cup in winter swimming has started here. About 150 participants came from different parts of Belarus and Russia. Winter swimming in the two countries, by the way, is just gaining momentum and becoming popular among the population. After all, as extreme swimmers note, they practically never get sick.
They have been swimming in icy water for not the first year, so they already show good results at the finish line and even set the world records.
The competitions will last until Sunday. The program includes swimming breaststroke, freestyle, butterfly and relay races.
