Dinara Alimbekova-Smolskaya won silver at the fifth stage of the Commonwealth Cup. The Olympic champion of Pyeongchang decided to take a risk today and enter the second group of the starting line in order to be guided by the time and shooting results of her rivals. As we see, she was successful.

Dinara Alimbekova-Smolskaya shot without mistakes at all the shooting ranges and was leading at the last one. However she lost her lead on the last lap and at the finish line lost less than three seconds to the Russian Irina Kazakevich. The Belarusian had a silver medal. Another Russian athlete Tamara Derbusheva took the third place.
