The Belarusian Anton Kushnir claimed the bronze in aerials at the Freestyle Skiing World Cup that is taking place in Deer Valley, the US, these days. Anton Kushnir lost only to Qi Guangpu from China and Maxim Burov from Russia.
Another Belarusian aerial skier who took part in the finals – Maxim Gustik – took the fifth place.
A week ago, at the World Cup stage in Moscow, Anton Kushnir won the gold. In the overall standings of the World Cup, Anton currently has the second place, only two points behind Maxim Burov.
In the women's competitions, Anna Guskova was the best performing athlete from Belarus. She was the fifth. Guskova is now No. 2 in the overall standings.
The next stage will be held next week in Lake Placid.
