Belarusian Paralympians to return from Rio de Janeiro today

Belarusian Paralympians are scheduled to return from Rio de Janeiro today.

21 athletes represented Belarus in 5 sports at the Paralympic Games, winning a total of 10 medals - 8 gold and 2 bronze ones. Swimmer Igor Boki scored 6 gold medals and 1 bronze. Gold medals also went to swimmer Vladimir Izotov and wheelchair fencer Andrei Pranevich. Javelin thrower Alexander Triput scored a bronze.

Belarus’ national team ended up in the 19th place in the medal standings.

The Paralympic Games heroes are scheduled to arrive at Minsk National Airport at 20:30.
