The results demonstrated by the Belarusian Paralympians at the Open Championship in athletics will contribute to the successful performance at the Paralympic Games. We have confidence that our athletes will be allowed to participate in the Paralympics. This was told by the head of the Paralympic Committee Oleg Shepel. At the stadium "Dinamo," where Belarusians competed with the strongest Russian athletes, our guys were able to update several records of the country. The Belarusians are still actively preparing for the competitions and are ready to perform at the maximum of their abilities in case they return to the international arena.
The nearest consideration of the issue of the admission of the athletes will be at the end of September this year at the General Assembly of the International Paralympic Committee in Bahrain.
