In today's quarterfinals the second racket defeated in a three-sets duel Spaniard Paula Badosa, who is 31st in the world ranking - 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. The meeting lasted for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
In the 1/8 finals Arina Sobolenko confidently defeated in two sets the Czech tennis player Barbora Krejcikova (the 12th WTA ranking) - 6:2, 6:3. In the semifinals Sobolenko will meet the winner of the match between Caroline Garcia (5) of France and Anastasia Potapova (24) of Russia.
The indoor clay-court tournament in Stuttgart will end on April 23.
