The traditional international rhythmic gymnastics tournament Winter Queen Cup has ended in Spain's Playa de Aro, BELTA reports.
The Belarusian adult team was represented by Olympic bronze medalist Alina Gornosko and the world championship medalist Anastasia Salos, while Nicole Leuta performed among juniors. As a year ago, the absolute winner of the tournament was Gornosko, who showed the best sum in the all-around (139.484 points), and also received the highest points in all finals of individual exercises. According to the results of all five events of the Seniors' program, Salos was on the second step of the podium, second only to her teammate.
In the junior competitions, Nicole Leuta, like Gornosko, was equally dominant, winning the ball, hoop, clubs and ribbon programs, as well as the all-around. A total of 570 graces from Belarus, Spain, Andorra, Belgium, Greece, France, Great Britain, Italy, Lithuania, Romania and the United Arab Emirates took part in the III Winter Queen Cup tournament.
