Arina Sobolenko has reached the third round of the Premier tennis tournament in Indian Wells.
The Belarusian tennis player beat in two sets 6:4, 6:3 experienced Svetlana Kuznetsova, who occupies the 18th place of the world rating.
In the next match Sobolenko will meet with tennis player from the Czech Republic Marketa Vondrousova. Immediately after the single match, Sobolenko played a match in a pair. Together with Victoria Azarenka, the Belarusian confronted American Sloane Stephens and the Canadian Eugenie Bouchard. In the next round, Sobolenko and Azarenka will play with first seeded Russian women Elena Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova.
