Aliaksandra Sasnovich is in the 1/8th round of the WTA 500 tournament in Ostrava. In the first round the 31st-ranked Belarusian left no chance to Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia. In two sets Sasnovich was stronger with the same score - 6:2. In the second round,  her rival will be Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan, she is 26th in the WTA ranking.
