245 prospective athletes and coaches, representatives of 35 sports have received certificates for scholarships of the Presidential Sports Club today.
The solemn ceremony was held at the National Olympic Committee. This year, for the first time, scholarships were given to volleyball players and snowboarders. About 80 percent of the scholarship holders were able not only to confirm their previous year's level, but also to improve it.
The average size of the scholarship is 7143 Belarusian rubles, which is 26 rubles more than last year. Coaches will receive a scholarship in the amount of 7 600 rubles.
