The President held a meeting on preparations for the new school year. According to Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus does not need reforms of the education system. Instead, it is necessary to improve the existing framework. The President emphasized that the system's organizational aspects, including the rules of university enrollment, the overall structure of educational institutions, do not need reforms. The same cannot be said about the teaching methodology. 28 new textbooks will be published by September. The government spends 5 percent of the GDP on education reaches. For comparison, Russia spends 4.3%, and Kazakhstan - 3.6%.
