President discusses optimization issues with Minsk region governor Semyon Shapiro

During a meeting with Minsk region governor, Alexander Lukashenko was interested in the optimization, which is currently being conducted in the region. Semyon Shapiro also informed the President on the outcome of the region's economy in the first half year period. Speaking about the development of the Minsk region, the governor noted that the industry was in the black. However, more efforts should be made to improve efficiency in certain areas and businesses. Besides, Semyon Shapiro reported on the progress of fodder procurement and its quality assurance in agriculture.
