Preparations for the new academic year were discussed by the President at a meeting with the Minister of Education and First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration. The Head of State instructed to render financial aid to every family, if necessary.
As for professional education, the President urged to provide the regions with workers and professionals with vocational secondary education.
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized the development of higher education stating that the current system is in need of practice-oriented specialists.
