President of Belarus visits BelAZ in Zhodino

By Svetlana Konopatskaya: During his working trip to the Minsk Region the President of Belarus visited BelAZ in Zhodino. The world's largest truck with carrying capacity of 450 tons has recently been assembled here. It was test driven by Alexander Lukashenko personally. The President also took part in the opening of the heavy machinery production plant and talked to its employees. The trade union committee head drew attention to the fact that the decision of the Council of Ministers on sickness benefits infringes on the rights of young professionals. The President did not rule out the possibility to revoke it but asked not to jump to conclusions. The topic of foreign shopping was also touched upon.
