Bishkek hosts today the jubilee summit of the CIS heads of state. The forum is about to begin. The President of Belarus will participate in it. Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Kyrgyzstan yesterday. The agenda of the forum is busy and includes economic, security and humanitarian issues. Yet the main question is the ways of increasing effectiveness of the CIS.
Prior to the CIS summit in Bishkek, Alexander Lukashenko held a bilateral meeting with Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip. During a recent visit to Moldova, President Alexander Lukashenko and Nikolai Timofti agreed to raise the turnover bar up to a billion dollars. The parties discussed the ways to achieve this goal.
