Over 90 representatives of the Russian media, Union State and interstate TV and radio company Mir came to Belarus this time. The press conference lasted for five and a half hours with Alexander Lukashenko answering tens of various questions. The main attention was focused on Belarus and Russia: the economy, the Union State, the relationship between the Presidents, assistance to flood victims in the Amur region as well as the recent strategic exercise West 2013. The problems of youth and family were also raised. One of the issues touched upon by the journalists was shadow capital accumulation in Belarus.
