Alternative variants should be introduced in view of a reduction in Russian oil supplies to Belarus, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said today when hearing a report delivered by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko. The central subject was negotiations with the Russian Federation on the terms of crude oil purchase by Belarus, as well as alternative replacement options and additional load on domestic oil refineries in view of the reduction in raw material supplies from Russia. According to the Belarusian leader, the situation in the industry is difficult, but not critical. The President also requested a report on the volumes of domestically produced oil.
