Belarusian army must respond to the present challenges and threats. This was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko during his visit to the Ministry of Defense. The head of state discussed with the command staff the direction of development of the Armed Forces today. The President recalled that upon the appointment the defense minister had been given the task to prepare a concept for the creation of an adequate mobile army. According Alexander Lukashenko, it has been done.
During the meeting, Defense Minister presented the direction of development of the Belarusian army for the coming years. According to the President, Belarus will pursue reasonable policy. We must be able to defend the sovereignty of Belarus, but we will never get involved in a conflict, says the President.
