The joint world hockey championship in 2021 and oil supplies through Baltic ports were discussed by Alexander Lukashenko and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia Krisjanis Kariņš.

The hockey championship will be held in Minsk and Riga in May next year. They also discussed oil shipments: the Baltic harbors are ready to work with our country, the only thing left is to negotiate with the oil powers. We are still looking for a financial compromise with Russia and talking to Azerbaijan.
