The President’s board landed at a military base at Ciampino Airport in Rome about 2 p.m.
At the airport building the Head of State held a brief conversation with Director of the Diplomatic Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Cristiano Cottafavi. The Head of State proposed to Italian businesses to actively invest in Belarus.
Alexander Lukashenko has held talks with President of Italy Sergio Mattarella today. At the meeting the whole range of Belarusian-Italian relations were considered, with emphasis on trade, economic and investment cooperation. Special attention was paid to the formation of the regulatory framework of bilateral cooperation. Today more than 200 joint ventures are being developed in Belarus.
