21 August 2019

The President has conducted an inspection of the Ivye district of the Grodno region.

The first point of the trip was Lida-Techmash, where agricultural machinery is assembled. Alexander Lukashenko was informed about the progress of the harvest, where, by tradition, the Grodno region is the leader. The head of state once again notes that it is necessary to act reasonably to minimize losses during harvesting, especially taking into account corn. In total, the goal is to harvest at least nine million tons. Alexander Lukashenko also called on the regions to approach feed preparation on their own. The Belarusian leader will study in the near future the situation with flax processing. In general, the President intends to pay special attention to areas remote from regional centers.

Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the work of the business in woodworking. The state is ready to assist entrepreneurs and even allocate space for expansion of production.

The next stop of the President was the local Culture Center. On behalf of the head of state, all artists were awarded the chocolate President. After that, Alexander Lukashenko visited the exhibition of masters of folk art and talked with the residents of the city.
