The first results of the annual optimization of professional training of officers of the Belarusian army are summed up today on the highest level on the Obuz-Lesnovsky range.
On October 30, 2015, the President severely criticized physical training, the state of the army sport and professionalism in the application of modern military equipment. Today Alexander Lukashenko arrived at the training ground near Baranovichi in order to familiarize himself with new weapons. The President has studied a new helicopter military complex. It features high-precision electronics, carries advanced ammunition, and an increased number of paratroopers. Afterwards, the President held a short meeting on improving the system of military training. The Head of State emphasizes that, in general, it works effectively, but requires improvements.
