Representatives of Belarusian business should be actively involved in charity and support of the elderly and children. This statement was made today by the President during his working trip to Minsk Region. Alexander Lukashenko is visiting the Nikolaevschina home for war and labour veterans and the disabled. It has already become a good tradition to pay particular attention on the eve of the New Year to those who need help and care. Businesses abroad often contribute to charitable deeds. The Head of State instructed to work out the appropriate direction in Belarus. Moreover, assistance to the elderly and children should be regular. After the greetings and warm communication with veterans of war and labour, reporters asked the Head of State a few questions. The Belarusian leader announced the first results of the year in this improvised dialogue.

Alexander Lukashenko got acquainted with the living conditions, treatment and rehabilitation provided to veterans of war and labour and the disabled. The Head of State talked to the elderly living in the boarding house. The President instructed the officials to ensure that funds to support the elderly and children are spent as efficiently as possible.
