The President of Belarus has instructed to remove from office all those responsible for the failure to ensure proper economic conditions and production discipline at the Kupalovskoye agricultural holding. The Head of State gave such an assignment during his working visit to Mogilev region.
The leaders of the holding did not expect that the President would immediately reject the proposed route and choose his own way around the facility. When inspecting the dairy complex Alexander Lukashenko found an unpresentable picture. The complex has been operating for 2 years, but it makes a depressing impression. It turned out that animals are kept in terrible conditions. Technological violations are seen everywhere. Mismanagement and careless approach are obvious. Alexander Lukashenko opened all the closed doors, walked through the territory and talked to the workers of the complex, who clearly did not expect to see the President in such places hidden from outside eyes.
According to the results of the President’s visit to the region, fundamental personnel decisions were made due to the failure to ensure proper business conditions and production discipline at the Kupalovskoye agricultural holding. Head of Shklov District Vasily Vityunov is the new head of this agricultural holding. Gennady Lavrenkov has become the acting chairman of the Shklov district executive committee. Governor of the region Vladimir Domanevsky was removed from his post. The duties of the chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee are entrusted to first deputy Nikolai Korotin. As for the remaining leaders, Alexander Lukashenko has instructed the Presidential Administration to submit proposals as soon as possible. During the trip, the effectiveness and development of agriculture in general were discussed. Today, the President has made it clear that complex agricultural enterprises will not be overlooked.
The President instructed to set up the Kupalovskoye agricultural holding 2.5 years ago. In June of last year, Alexander Lukashenko stated that that was a project of national importance, but it was developing slowly. Since the President knows every household in Shklov district, it is here that many solutions for the agro-industrial complex and for modernization of districts as a whole are being worked out.
