President personally examines construction of Belarusian NPP

The work on the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant is underway. This was reported today to the President during his visit to the construction site of the Belarusian nuclear power plant. Alexander Lukashenko was interested in security and drew attention to the fact that during the construction of the Belarusian NPP one should not hurry. The Head of the State was assured that all the works comply with strict quality regulations. Construction of the first unit will be completed in 2018, the second in 2020. Next year we plan to begin the installation of a nuclear reactor, turbine and steam generators. After the tour, the Head of State talked to the residents of Ostrowiec, builders and future employees of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.
