The President of Equatorial Guinea has confirmed the invitation to President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to visit his country, emphasizing that Equatorial Guinea is expecting and seriously preparing for the arrival of the Belarusian head of state. This is reported by BelTA with reference to the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
In this regard, the Belarusian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik paid considerable attention to the topic of filling the upcoming summit talks during its visit to Equatorial Guinea.
On November 15, Sergei Aleinik headed the Belarusian delegation consisting of Agriculture Minister Sergei Bartosh and Health Minister Dmitri Pinevich, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology Tatiana Stolyarova and was received by President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. In the course of the meeting, following the work of the Belarusian delegation in Malabo, the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in agriculture, health care, education, science and technology, industry, construction, etc. were thoroughly discussed.
The head of Equatorial Guinea separately emphasized the very topical issue of food security. He noted that the experience of the Belarusian side in this area is in high demand in Africa.
