Double standards are still dominant in world politics, stated the President of Belarus, speaking in front of the command of the Armed Forces. The Head of State said about the obvious unwillingness and inability of the leaders of the major powers to bear responsibility for their decisions. As a result of such actions North Africa and the Middle East immersed in chaos and millions of migrants are flooding into Europe. Against this background, Belarus should constantly improve the country's defense. This task today was set by the President.
Operational gathering of military officers held annually.
The military summarize the activities of the Armed Forces, as well as coordinate the strategy of further work to improve the country's defense. Today’s operational gathering brought together three hundred and fifty officers, who represent all Belarusian military units. A draft of a new military doctrine is ready. This was announced today by the Head of State during the meeting. By the end of the year the document will have been considered at a meeting of the Security Council.
