President of Belarus meets with Chairman of Uzbek Senate

A parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan is paying an official visit to Belarus. Yesterday, President Alexander Lukashenko met with the Chairman of the Uzbek Senate Nigmatilla Yuldashev.

Last year, the trade turnover between the two countries reached 130 million dollars. Belarus primarily exports tractors, agricultural machinery, as well as road and construction machinery. In Uzbekistan, the first assembly facilities of Amkodor and Bobruiskagromash were set up.

Last week, Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev met in China at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit. To strengthen the bilateral cooperation the leaders intend to talk in person. This year, President Alexander Lukashenko is expected to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.

The head of the upper house of parliament of Uzbekistan took part in a meeting of business circles of the two countries. BelAZ has a new supply plan through the year 2023. 200 trucks will be sent to Uzbekistan.
