Two summits of CIS and EEC will be held on the Black Sea coast. The President of Belarus will take part in them.
The forthcoming summit of CIS heads of state is called the most significant event of the commonwealth this year. And it's not just the agenda of the talks (and the Presidents will discuss about 20 topics), what's more important for leaders is the opportunity to meet and personally discuss all the most pressing issues.
One of the central themes is the adaptation of the Commonwealth to new realities. Of course they will talk about cooperation in the economy, humanitarian and defense spheres. As you know, 2017 in the CIS is the year of the family. Therefore, one of the most significant documents of the forthcoming summit is the joint statement of the heads of states on the support of the family institution. Leaders will also discuss a convention on cooperation in the exploration of outer space for peaceful purposes. Traditionally, at such meetings, there are many questions from the humanitarian bloc. The media have already uncovered the secret that they plan to declare in the commonwealth the year of the book.
The second half of today's negotiating day will be devoted to the work of the Eurasian Economic Commonwealth. In 2017, mutual trade between countries revived after a decline last year. Nevertheless, a number of problems remain.
