President of Belarus visits Gomel region

Significant progress has been made in rehabilitation of the territories that suffered from the Chernobyl disaster. This was stated today by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during the working trip to the Khoiniki district of Gomel Region. The President was also informed about plans to exclude part of the territories from the banned area to bring them into the economic activity.

The Head of the State also visited a scientific laboratory, a museum in the territory of the reserve. After that Alexander Lukashenko answered the questions of journalists.
