President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Xi Jinping on his re-election as the President of the People's Republic of China.
"Under your wise leadership, in the spirit of the idea of socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era, the people of China are confidently implementing the grand goals of two centuries aimed at increasing the well-being of citizens and realizing the dream of a great revival of the nation," the letter reads.
The Belarusian President noted that the partnership between the countries has reached the highest level of development in the history of bilateral relations. "Owing to the constructive dialogue, mutual trust and respect for each other's interests, we managed to lay a solid foundation for effective implementation of the joint projects," Alexander Lukashenko stressed.
The President also expressed his confidence in the success of the upcoming summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be chaired by Xi Jinping in Qingdao and will undoubtedly be an important milestone in the work of this influential international association. "I hope we will have an opportunity to meet within the framework of the summit, and also invite you to visit Belarus at any convenient time," the President noted.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Xi Jinping good health, happiness, and every success in his job as the head of state for the benefit of the people of China and the strengthening of friendly Belarusian-Chinese relations.
