Congratulations to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on the national holiday, the Republic Day.

"I am sincerely happy to see the success of Azerbaijan on the path of qualitative transformation of all society aspects. The impressive achievements demonstrated by the country in economic, social and other areas of development have gainedņ international recognition and contributed to consolidating the position of your state in the world arena," the congratulatory message reads.

The President pointed to the high level of trust and mutual understanding which have become the foundation of Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations based on the strategic partnership, friendship and alliance.

"I am convinced that your weighty contribution to strengthening the fruitful long-term ties between Belarus and Azerbaijan will help realize the potential of the bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the residents of our countries," said the Head of State.

Alexander Lukashenko has wished Ilham Aliyev good health, vital energy, new successes and achievements, and peace and prosperity to the people of Azerbaijan.
