An example of the kind of business Belarus needs. The President praised the company while visiting Vitex production facility today. This is the first cosmetic company in our country! The full production cycle has been created here - from the development of recipes to the sale of products through its distribution network. Alexander Lukashenko got acquainted with the company's capacities and range of products. Today more than 2,000 kinds of cosmetic products are manufactured there.
The geography of sales includes more than three dozen countries. Starting last year, the Belarusian cosmetic products are sold in Canada, Pakistan and Bahrain.
15 years ago, the company became the owner of an unprofitable farm in Uzden District and created an agricultural branch on its basis. Farms were reconstructed, grain harvesters were renovated and storage facilities were built. And Vitex entered the market with completely new products, offering the Belarusians natural juices. The President noted that this enterprise is a proof that it is possible to work effectively.
The company continues growing. Next year the construction of a new cosmetics production building in Uzden District will be completed. That's three hundred additional jobs. In total, about a thousand people are employed at the enterprise.
