Lukashenko meets with refugees at Belarusian-Polish border

The Belarusian President paid a visit to the border, where refugees were waiting and hoping for 3 weeks. While the neighboring "democracy" uses people as bargaining chips in its negotiations with Brussels and as a shield from internal problems, Alexander Lukashenko deals on the spot with the issues of destitute people. We remember how many instructions were given by the leader of our country to improve the living conditions, health and safety of refugees. And today the President personally went to the border to see with his own eyes what is happening at the transport and logistics center near the border outpost "Bruzgi".

Alexander Lukashenko stressed once again: the Belarusian side will do its best to help migrants.

This applies to both simple issues and political moments. Minsk insists: Berlin must open a humanitarian corridor for those who want to get to Germany. That is where people are going. At the same time, Belarus respects the decision of people not to return home to Iraq, where the situation remains extremely difficult and tense.  For many refugees, the President's visit was an occasion to smile, to say thank you for help and to make their requests.
