"This holiday symbolizes the unwavering aspiration of Serbs for independence, preservation of national identity and strengthening the sovereignty of their country," reads the congratulatory message. - Belgrade bravely overcomes all the difficulties and continues to successfully resolve current socio-economic problems, maintain peace in the region, uphold its independence and pursue a balanced foreign policy.
Belarus highly values its relations with Serbia, which are based on traditions of brotherly friendship, cultural and spiritual closeness, the head of state pointed out. "I am convinced that the further development of the bilateral political dialogue, the full realization of the potential of Belarusian-Serbian cooperation and mutual support in the international arena are in the best interests of our peoples," the President stressed.
