President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has a negative attitude to the idea of women mobilization in the army. He said this to journalists upon arrival in the Kremlin, BelTA informs.

The head of state made the statement, answering the question of Russian journalists in connection with earlier speculations on this issue in Ukraine.

"Very negatively (refers to the idea of mobilizing women. - BELTA note). Women should fly into space. And if they really want to join the army, fine, let them serve. But forcing a woman, who is supposed to give birth, into the army to die a sure death is utter stupidity. This is desperation. I am against it," the President said.
