President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the national holiday - Independence Day, BelTA informs.
Belarus highly appreciates Jordan's efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East region and welcomes the initiatives of King Abdullah II to preserve security in the country and neighboring states, the Belarusian leader stressed.
"We aim to deepen friendly, mutually respectful relations with your country and develop comprehensive Belarusian-Jordanian cooperation," Alexander Lukashenko said. - I am convinced that given the significant potential for further intensification of ties in areas of common interest, we will be able to open a new page in the relations between Minsk and Amman.
The President of Belarus wished the King of Jordan good health and success in all his endeavors for the benefit of the kingdom, and the people of Jordan prosperity and well-being.
