President appoints first deputies to Interior Ministry and KGB

Personnel reinforcement in the security sector. That is how we can say about the decisions taken today by the head of state. The President appointed the first two deputies to the Interior Ministry and the KGB. 

Along with applicants for important positions, the heads of the Security Council, Interior Ministry and KGB were also invited to the meeting. It's not a support group. Their presence is a reason to discuss the upcoming tasks together. Sergey Terebov will be  the first deputy chairman of the State Security Committee. Alexander Melnikov will  head the KGB department in Gomel Region. Gennady Kazakevich will be the  First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, and the head of the criminal police of the country. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will have to step up its efforts to combat corruption.
