The power structures of our country provide for a high level of law and order, protection of the interests and rights of our citizens. Today, the President held a meeting with State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus. Stanislav Zas informed Alexander Lukashenko about the results of the work of the power structures in the first half of the year and their optimization. The president once again voices the main requirement: the work should not be conducted at the expense of defense capability.

Stanislav Zas states that the power structures have secured the necessary conditions for sustainable functioning of the state and public institutions, ensured the rule of law, protection of rights and interests of citizens.

The activity of the State Border Committee was discussed at the meeting with the President as well. Last year was marked by an increase in border violations by 22%. However, such data can speak about more efficient work of border guards. On behalf of the President, a group of experts has reviewed the activities of the border agency. Soon the inspection results will be discussed at a separate meeting at the level of Head of State.
